This serigraphy is a tribute to the great work of G. de Chirico. The reproduction of the “Horses of Diomedes” of the great metaphysical painter is identical to the original in every particular. The technical ability of the press has got the privilege of the artist’s meticulous hand running it only 200 copies. The figures of the horses back as a iconographic constant in the work of de Chirico: this one in particular was one of the first painted in the Neo-metaphysics, or that moment where the artistic painter examined its previous work with the filters’ use of strong colors and with the innocent eyes of a child. The title refers to the similarity between the equine animal and the life of Diomede, mythological character in the past known to be “thief and horses-tamer.”
