NINO CAFFE’ Art:
The own of Nino Caffè (Alfedena 1909 – Pesaro, 1975) is becoming an italian legend, painter and workshop teacher, inventor of formulas as its little priests, bishops, cardinals and carabineers, or the institutional world that only Rome can offer, but Caffè was man with smart tastes, able to instantly capture the experiences of people and situations, with his irony and not always corrosive, so that the writer Leonida Repaci, the creator of the famous Viareggio prize, in one of the articles published between’41 and’43 in pages of “L’Illustrazione Italiana” entitled “Painters and sculptors in gear”, thought of the artist a loving psychological, in the essence of his living Rome and the world that populated the city as a recovery of a great romance, turning so its back to solicitations based on stylistic return to, passing a kind of sensuality to D’Annunzio, and practice instead of a human sensuality in direction with a depth of fourth style, where yellow, red, brown, blacks and green lights and shadows, changing of seasons, solar and stormy, a trigger mechanism that dramatically raises the temperature of the framework.
